The Practice
CDS LLP is the Architecture and Design team of Hallmark Property Group, which focuses on the design, construction and management of student accommodation in London under The Stay Club Brand.
Their developments stemmed from the same construction method combining pre-fabricated shipping containers and steel frame construction. This approach is very efficient and cost effective, allowing me to gain valuable experience in the new construction methods that are being used in the industry. The
property group consists of several companies which take on the roles of Architects / Designers, Main Contractor, Operator and Client / Owner.

HIGHLIGHT PROJECT - SITE 10
The project that produced the greatest learning opportunity was creating highly detailed 3D models of the complex facade for this North Acton Student Accommodation. This project allowed me to learn and use Rhino 3D, Grasshopper and Autodesk Inventor, working in conjunction with facade engineers to follow the strict tolerances and guidelines that set us. This task allowed me to learn and experience the capabilities of powerful modelling software and the sheet metal manufacturing processes, combining to give a great experience on how intricate facade components are generated, modelled and manufactured in the construction industry.
